Squad 328 has helped regional departments the past few years with
extremely dry and warm conditions dominating the winter seasons. During
the winter of 2005 - 2006 on a beautiful warm Sunday afternoon a large
pasture/field fire broke out on the east end of Wichita and Sedgwick
County. Squad 328 responded with a 2 person crew. This picture was taken
by a Wichita Eagle photographer and made front page news commenting on
the very dry conditions and resulting fires.

Summer of 2007, a vehicular accident with injuries down the street from
the station at Maple and Tyler intersection.
Engines 328 and 329 responded.
